Katsina Police Commissioner Commends Officers for Heroic Rescue and Welcomes Customs Area Comptroller

In a significant development today, September 28, 2023, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, the Commissioner of Police for Katsina State Command, recognized the outstanding bravery and dedication of ten officers from the 27 PMF Katsina unit. These officers, while on special duty in Kankara LGA, demonstrated exceptional gallantry by rescuing a kidnapped victim and recovering 113 rustled animals. Their actions came after a fierce gunfight with heavily armed suspected kidnappers in Kankara LGA, Katsina State. CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa awarded them commendation letters and encouraged them to maintain their high standards.
Furthermore, the Commissioner received Compt. MA Umar, the newly deployed Customs Area Comptroller for Katsina Area Command, during a courtesy visit. Compt. MA Umar expressed his intention to strengthen the existing synergy with the police command. In response, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa expressed his gratitude for the visit and pledged the command's unwavering support in enhancing the cordial relationship between the two entities. The meeting concluded with the signing of the visitors' register and a group photograph to mark the occasion.
